A’Yani Roots didn’t start as a business plan. It started at home, out of a desperate search to help my daughters.

My oldest suffered from painful scalp eczema, while my youngest lost her hair to baby balding. Store-bought products were either too harsh or packed with filler ingredients I didn't feel safe putting on their skin. I knew there had to be a natural way to soothe their scalps and bring their hair back.

So, I got to work in my kitchen. I researched botanicals, tested organic oils, blended raw herbs known for deep restoration, and let God lead me on the formulation. Before long, my daughter’s eczema cleared up, and my baby’s bald spots grew back full and healthy.

That’s when I realized “Roots” meant so much more than just the hair on our heads. It’s about our family roots—the love, heritage, and care we pass down to our children.

I named the brand A’Yani by combining my daughters’ middle names, creating a legacy built on healing and devotion.
